Today I start an anti-inflammatory diet for three different reasons:

1. Over the last handful of months, I’ve noticed more GI issues (bloating, pain, stomach hot to the touch, etc) as well as fatigue, brain fog, joint pain. I want to see if lowering the amounts of inflammatory foods I eat will help alleviate these symptoms.

2. My sister was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis a year and a half ago and there is research showing that an AI diet can help reduce RA-associated pain and flare-ups. I want her to feel better.

3. An AI way of eating is similar to a Mediterranean diet and both have been linked to a reduction in chronic disease, injury, pain, autoimmune disorders, weight loss, and increased longevity of life.

I’ve been eating out a lot and want to be more in control of what I’m putting into my body so I can figure out if there are foods that make me (and my sister) feel better physically/mentally.

This is not a restrictive diet and I am not trying to lose weight. I am not cutting anything out (besides gluten for the first couple of weeks to see if I might have an intolerance) and I am HAPPY with the weight and size I am at. It’s a matter of being more in control of what I’m putting into my body, eating more nutrient dense foods that decrease inflammation, and less of the foods that increase inflammation.

Generally, this means incorporating more antioxidants, omega 3’s, fiber, healthy fats, and protein into my diet. Cold water fish, lcolorful fruits and veggies, nuts, beans, seeds, legumes, GF grains, olive oils. And cutting back on saturated fats, processed foods, added/artificial sweeteners, trans fats, refined carbs, and vegetable/peanut/grapeseed/sunflower/safflower/corn oils.

I am NOT following this diet strictly. I’m still going to enjoy foods and drinks when I’m out with friends, I’ll just be making more conscious decisions. I’m going to be doing this for at least 3-4 weeks, logging my food and meals to the best of my ability, and keeping track of how I feel.

Waffles con jalea de fresa, plátano y manzana con canela. 👨‍🍳🤤. así de sencillo y rico puede ser tu desayuno! .
Hecho con harina integral, sustituto de huevo en polvo, Canela, leche de soja, vainilla y pizca de royal. .
Otra cosa que utilizo en lugar del sustituto de huevo en polvo, es plátano machacado, siempre lo utilizo a la hora de realizar hot cakes, waffles o pan👌👨‍🍳.

•overnighters - put this in a mason jar and shake, too with nuts and fruit in the morning OR you can do this in the AM and take it to work with you. It takes around 30 min-hour to plump. ————————————
•My procrastinators- you can do the morning mason jar OR boil some hot water & add the ingredients @ top with your faves. ————————————

Ingrédients :
- 1 plaquette chocolat noir amandes caramélisées bio 100g
- 1 plaquette chocolat noir sans gluten bio 100g
- 3 œufs bio
- 200ml lait de coco allégé bio
- 125g margarine bio
- 70g poudre amandes complètes bio, 70g maïzena, 50g farine de riz, 1 sachet de levure chimique, 1 cas bicarbonate cuisine - 2 sachet de sucre vanillé bio, 60ml sirop d’agave bio
- 2 cas rhum arrangé litchi - Des framboises bio
Recette:
Faites bouillir au bain-marie le chocolat, margarine, le lait à feu doux.
Dans un saladier ajoutez vos farines.
Faites une préparation œufs, sucre, que vous ajoutez à votre farine, ensuite vous mélangez le tout avec le chocolat et le rhum.
Un peu de framboises sur le dessus. 
Bon appétit 👩🏻‍🍳🥰🍫
