many, many, sensitives including myself have/had the tendency to shrink. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
when we spend a lot of our lives unaware and overwhelmed by what we sense, feel or notice we learn to survive not thrive.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
we learn to make ourselves small; energetically, verbally, and physically, hoping we can fly under the radar and avoid suffering.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As we step out of fear and more into empowerment we can become more aware when we skip back into a “fawn” response. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The next time you notice yourself shrinking for acceptance; ask yourself “why don’t I feel safe,”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Knowing all your ancestors’ names is beautiful, but not necessary. ✨
Many of us don’t know the names of our ancestors. Maybe we were adopted. Maybe we didn’t know who one or more of our parents were. Maybe the records of our heritage were destroyed due to political oppression.
You can still call on your ancestors in prayer and ritual. These are some of my favorite ways to do so. Each option emphasizes a slightly different group. I choose how to address them based on a variety of factors, including what type of prayer I’m doing, which ancestors have been more active recently, and what I’m in the mood for.
How do you call on your ancestors?
Here are some of my thoughts about the practices of #mindfulness and #gratitude, especially as a carnivore! Topics include: · My new (and unexpected) daily meditation practice.
· How carnivory has deepened my sense of gratitude.
· How meditation and creativity can balance energies, esp. for an empath.
· Our place in the food chain and as part of the natural universe.
· My childhood attempt to go #vegetarian or #vegan ― and how my Mom saved me!
· How my cat’s death led me to a carnivore diet.
· What I really think and feel about killing and eating animals.
· And more!
For the past couple of weeks, I have spent many hours attempting to articulate what I’ve explored in this video. Between technical difficulties and my overall dissatisfaction, I had to try yet again. Which is better anyway, since I’ve made more sense of it for myself.
I hope you get something out of this!
Don’t be afraid to BE out loud. Many of us hold back all of who we are for various reasons. I encourage us to write those reasons down and discover why we tend to play small. We were born to consume. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again that our presence is powerful. I had the honor of training with the Atlantic Warriors Saturday morning. My instructor informed me that I was holding back my punches. He said, “Punch all the way through...you’re more powerful than that!” Until that moment, I didn’t realize I was holding back. But, why? Self-reflecting on my life, I didn’t want to offend. I didn’t want to hurt anyone even though others didn’t care about hurting me. I didn’t want to rock the boat. I wanted to be accepted. I wanted friends. I wanted to be liked and popular. I wanted to fit in. I’m sure many of us have felt this way, but no more. We’re a special breed! We weren’t created to fit in, but to stand all the way out. Don’t accept the world’s crumbs when we are entitled to seven-course meals. After all, we know the Chef! Ask for the well-deserved raise. Negotiate in your favor. Get what’s rightfully yours without apology! Today, I empower you to consume and punch all the way through. Let the world know the power you are and let the chips fall where they may❣️✨🥊🥋🤺 ⚔️ #IAmConsuming 🔥 ・・・ #EmpowerCREATIVE! #IEMPOWER#ICREATE#Empowerful#ConquerYourUncomfortable#NakedAndUnashamed#Empowerisms#HeartSet#Mindset#FeelThinkCreate#EmpowermentDr#truthcoach#author#poet#writer#kingdompreneur#therapeuticart#emotionalintelligence#socialintelligence#empath#highlysensitiveperson#introvert#empowerment

If you find yourself at a place in life
where you are unable to express how you feel,
find a song to do it for you.
I'm a firm believer that music is a God-given gift to help mankind connect with their heart, soul, mind, and one another.
There are only 45 days left in this year....
